Forget Uber Eats and Deliveroo, the one delivery app you need in your life is Blow LTD and with their latest collaboration you might just want to put them on speed dial.

As a self confessed beauty junkie, I jumped at the chance to try Blow’s latest offering, a partnership with one of the most well-known French skincare brands Decleor, and after a hectic week at work rushing around London, I couldn’t think of anything more relaxing and luxurious than a facial and massage at home. 

Firstly, the idea of not having to leave my flat in the freezing cold February weather and travel across the capital in the pouring rain was a huge tick.  Secondly, I couldn’t think of a better way to relax than to have a qualified therapist visit me in the comfort of my own home. 

The Decleor at home treatments include massages such as: deep tissue, Swedish and Aromatherapy using their famous oils.  Decleor also offer a variety of bespoke facials each with a skin care promise such as: Firming, Moisture Surge, Skin Soother and the Ultimate Vitamin Glow.

The Ultimate Vitamin Glow was screaming my name.  I felt pale, pasty and weathered in the greyness of February and needed something to light up my dull skin.  Suited to all skin types the Ultimate Vitamin Glow facial aims to relieve stress, is packed full with vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants that will leave the skin glowing with vitality -  the dream!  Furthermore, the facial also included a massage to help send you into complete relaxational bliss – heaven!

My chirpy therapist arrived and even though I live on the 4th floor she managed to make it up here with her table and products all fitting nicely into the lift.  Initially I was a bit concerned because I live in a tiny studio flat and was worried the massage table might not fit, but I needn’t have worried, even in this small space we actually had plenty of room.

Once the table was set up, following a brief discussion about my skin, I lay down and let my therapist get to work applying the treatments one by one, massaging them delicately into my face.  Decleor specialise in aromatherapy and essential oils all scientifically selected to help your skins needs, they are all from 100% natural origins and have been professionally formulated. 

Having a beauty therapist visit you at home feels like the ultimate pamper session.  Although we chatted non-stop during the facial it was relaxing and my skin did feel and look smoother and brighter afterwards.  I felt very much like I just wanted to stay at home watching movies for the rest of the evening (which was all I actually had planned anyway).

If you’re planning on having a night in either alone or with friends, or even a hen-do, having beauty treatments delivered directly to your home feels like the ultimate treat, and after a hectic day with the kids, the last thing you want is another appointment across town.  Instead open the door in your pyjamas (as I did!) and allow your therapist to create a calming and soothing atmosphere, as you slip in  to deep relaxation with your Decleor perfect duo of a facial and a massage.

To make your experience even more indulgent why not create a relaxing space at home before they arrive, perhaps even add some music so that you can really sink into the treatment and switch off.  Even if you don’t order this for yourself I think it would make a great gift for someone who’s had a stressful week.
