The Quick Lift at EF Medispa

Hailed as the ‘lunchtime facelift’ the Quick Lift is an instant non-invasive treatment, ideal for time short mums in need of a pick-me-up.

Don’t worry, while it may have been dubbed a ‘facelift’ there is in fact no scalp or needle in sight. Instead the Quick Lift utilizes a Q-Switch fraction laser that enables multiple laser and light technologies to penetrate the epidermis (or skin) up to four times deeper that other traditional laser treatments.  Oh and did I mention it’s pretty much pain free!

Sound pretty great right but how does it work? The Quick Lift’s secret is the depth to which it penetrates the epidermis. By being able to penetrate so deeply in to the epidermis (up to 4 times deeper than usual), the laser is able to precisely target only the damaged skin cells without harming the outer layer of the skin. It is this destruction of the old damaged cells, known as micro injuries, that in turn triggers the body to repair itself, producing new cells and more of the lovely youth boosting collagen we love so much. The end result? Tighter skin and a more rejuvenate complexion.

Ideal for the delicate skin around the face, neck, décolletage, hands and hard to treat eye area, EF Medispa recommend a course of 6, 45 minute treatments to achieve optimum results, although results can be noticeable is a little as 1 treatment.

However what we really lovely about the Quick Lift compared to so many of the other laser treatments we’ve tested is the lack of down time. While you can expect to see a few red mark post treatment, it is nothing that can not be covered by make up (we recommend Oxygenetix, the only post surgical foundation that allows your skin to breath while aiding the healing process)  and they should fade within a few hours, leaving you free to go about the rest of the day .
